Account Manager

LaCAR is a Liège-based scale-up active in genetic molecular diagnostics. We develop and market kits for laboratories to diagnose genetic diseases. After several years spent developing our first products, we are now present in most European countries. To support the rapid growth of the company, LaCAR is hiring an "ACCOUNT MANAGER" for the French and Dutch or German markets. The offices and laboratories are based at the Sart-Tilman in Liege.

Role and tasks

  • Manage and update the customer databases. 
  • Create new opportunities by making appointments with different prospects. 
  • Visit the different prospects to present the products. 
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of the products to the prospects. 
  • Ensure the follow-up of a customer portfolio. 


  • Junior profile 
  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, business administration, marketing or equivalent. 
  • French: Mother tongue 
  • Dutch or German: fluent (B2 minimum) 
  • English: very good knowledge 
  • Easy to communicate with. 
  • Ability to understand scientific concepts. 
  • You like to travel, you are flexible, you are autonomous and reliable. 


Full time (38h/week) 

🗎 Permanent contract starting with a training period of 3 to 6 months.
